“ Empanadas are literally better by an order of magnitude than anything I found in Santiago Chile a few years ago. Great beer all around too. Would love to go nuts supporting the business but seems a little unintentionally reckless to be burning so much gas in the extremely cute backyard fire pit even when no ones out there. And the single-use plastic cups for water seemed unnecessary, should have asked for a glass, felt a little guilty there. The next time Im back if those two issues are addressed I pledge to spend 100 dollars. Seriously love this place, thank you for making it work in the Sunset! ”

“ Loved my matenegro, a black lager made with yerba mate that had head like a Guinness, but while full bodied it was smoother/silkier than Guinness. I don't drink often, and when I do it's a pleasant surprise when I really enjoy it. I have an overall 5 stars, and only took off one star in the "atmosphere" section because the music was too loud. But do take context that I think most bars and restaurants are too loud in general. I'd come back here regardless. I lived in Santiago de Chile a little over a decade ago... And didn't try the empanadas today. Next time. Bonus points for being dog friendly. ”

“ My friends and I stumbled on this little gem and loved it. The Local Honey beer was divine - not sweet, but vegetal, earthy - and the mulled wine was the perfect mix of spices for a wintery night. Empanadas were on point for a late night snack. Lastly, the bartender was so nice and very knowledgeable about all the drinks, he even offered us samples of beers he thought we might like. They make beer AND wine which is not something you see often! ”
